Learn how to work with asbestos in the workplace
This is a non-accredited training course. Participants who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion.
The 11084NAT Asbestos Course is required in the ACT, but it is not currently mandatory in Western Australia.
This awareness course will give participants an understanding of the risks involved when working and dealing with Asbestos.
Asbestos Awareness training educates participants on the hazards and risks associated with asbestos fibres. Participants will learn how to identify asbestos containing material (ACM), the appropriate risk control measures including appropriate PPE types and knowledge on management and disposal of ACM.
Asbestos Awareness is a non-accredited training course. Students who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is issued by Safety Training Professionals (RTO 52431).
Our Asbestos Awareness course is 100% online and self-paced.
Once you have enrolled we supply you with access details to login to your learner portal so you can start straight away and you will be allocated 30 days to complete the course.
The Asbestos Awareness Online course is a mixture of interactive modules, multiple choice questions and videos. You don't have to complete the course all at once, and can pause it so you can pick up where you left off later. Once you've successfully completed your course, you can print/download your Certificate of Completion straight away.
Student Requirements
Students must have the language, literacy, numeracy (LLN) and physical capabilities to meet the performance criteria of this unit. (For further information or if you have any concerns regarding LLN and/or physical capabilities please contact the office)
Participants must have the ability to read and write English and be able to perform the theoretical assessment as required.

This nationally accredited Confine Small Workplace Emergencies (fire extinguisher/basic fire) training course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to use fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets on small workplace emergencies.
Equipment
Students must use a device that meets the minimum STP’s e-Learning system. eg. PC or Mac Computer, Tablet, iPad, iPhone or Android phone

This is a non-accredited training course. Participants who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Safety Training Professionals.
