This course is designed for those companies or individuals that require knowledge and skills to perform Risk Assessments and the subsequent Job Safety Analysis at their workplace in accordance with Australian Standards, Codes of practice and your own site requirements. Generics (Australian Standard) documentation will be used or the course may be tailored to include your site specific documentation.

Assessment
Participants must have the ability to read and write English and be able to perform practical and theoretical assessment as required.

Course Details 
   Group Bookings:

  • Up to 10 participants per group
  • Where: At your site or our training centre in Jandakot
  • Duration: 4 hours
  • Time: 8.00am to 12.00pm
  • Dress: Clean standard work wear, enclosed safety shoes, long shirt and pants

  • Hazard Identification Tools (Hazards vs. Risk, Risk Calculation, Risk Rating Matrix)
  • Hierarchy of Hazard Control
  • People involved and their responsibilities
  • Documentation
  • Practical tasks completed (Workshop JSA & Risk Assessment)
  • Theory Assessment
  • Practical development of a site specific Job Safety Analysis.

Upon Completion
Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
